Sumatra Salon & Spa is owned by Belinda Lyons. Belinda grew up in a salon atmosphere in Washington D.C., where her parents owned and operated several successful salons. Building upon that experience, Belinda opened Sumatra in the heart of Virginia Beach, Virginia in August of 2003. 

After many years of working alongside her parents, Belinda followed in their footsteps, by entering the field of Cosmetology. Owning her own salon has been Belinda's lifelong dream. Known for her exceptional creativity and client-focused approach, Belinda enjoys a loyal following. Belinda is well known for stylish haircuts, coloring and highlights, and helping people look and feel their best.

Sumatra is located at The Virginia Beach Town Center and easily accessible from I-264, and just minutes from Norfolk and the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. The salon is just steps away from P.F. Chang's China Bistro, The Cheesecake Factory, and Ruth's Chris.
